Open Minded - Respectful - Nonjudgmental

So glad you are here. That is half the battle, and a huge step. I have been where you are, I am powerless, and a textbook example of an unmanageable life when addiction is running the show. From the depths of addiction, to renewing my passion for golf, skiing, reading, cooking, and spending time with my husband and two sons, I know first hand the freedom there is to be gained when we take a rigorously honest look at self and boldly decide to make changes.

My driving force in being a part of this field, is to be of service to others who want to change their lives for the better. To help individuals move out of darkness, whether from addiction, trauma, mental health, or whatever is causing pain or creating an emptiness, to be able to meet them where they are at and together move to a better space. I know first hand the overwhelming task of asking for help, and the admittance of recognizing that I could not do certain things alone.

I have been humbled by that process, and have also come to see that it is actually strength, not weakness to take that step and reach out. I want to be one who reaches back and guides others on their journeys. I have the “me too” factor of the struggle, and of feelings of hopelessness. My desire is to walk beside individuals, and dig deep, to be able to offer suggestions around the “so what now”, “how do we turn this bus around?”
